Authorisations for logistics services and compliance with storage standards at our Sant’Ilario d’Enza facility
Our certification as a “Magazzino Generale” (Bonded Warehouse) is in accordance with a specific (and today perhaps unique) set of regulations governed by the Italian Civil Code, regulations which make certain government agencies (Chambers of Commerce) responsible for the constant monitoring and annual inspection of bonded warehouses to verify their proper operation.
The aim is to ensure that bonded warehouses provide the most fair and correct management of goods to those storing their merchandise therein and guarantee that insurance on both the goods being stored and the facilities themselves is compulsory and appropriate in nature.
Bonded warehouse customers must feel protected and secure in the knowledge that the facilities are both suitable and properly managed.
Bonded storage services certifications
Our company holds insurance policies both on the goods it stores and on its facilities. We issue warehouse warrants/deeds of pledge over goods and documents of title that represent the goods deposited in the warehouse and which are necessary to access advance credit from banking institutions.

Certification of suitability to provide storage and logistics services
- EC Identification and Health Mark N.569 F, issued by the Italian Ministry of Health with document ref. no. 600.7/24475/69.36/53, dated 23 January 1985
- Registered under entry no. 1155, by Decree no. 600.7/24481/AG50/3610 of the Ministry of Health, dated 14 May 1996, in the special registry provided for under article 7 of Legislative Decree 531 of December 1992 certifying suitability to operate as a type-3 facility (health regulations applicable to the production and sale of fishing-industry products)
- Registered under entry no. 125/PROD. in the Registry established pursuant to article 5 of Legislative Decree 28, dated 30 January 1993, and kept at the Veterinary Office for EEC compliance, district of Emilia-Romagna, now the Parma UVAC (Veterinary Service of the Ministry of Health responsible for implementing EU obligations)
- Health and Hygiene Permit no. 613 for the warehousing and storage of fresh, refrigerated or frozen meats destined for export within the EEC and to non-EU countries, renewed by the Municipality of Sant’Ilario d’Enza on 17 January 2003
- Health and Hygiene Permit no. 76, renewed by the Municipality of Sant’Ilario d’Enza on 30 December 2002
- Authorisations combined under Consolidated Certificate of Accreditation, Approval Number IT 569 F, issued 06 December 2007
- Business certified fit for Organic Production method (certificate no. IT BAC 087379) by BioAgriCert
- Quality management and food safety systems certifications ISO 9001-22000-28000
- MSC/ASC certification for the management of fishing-industry products
- BRC certification with AA rating
